AMMSA at UT Southwestern

Welcome to the American Muslim Medical Student Association at UT Southwestern. We are a student-run religious organization at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. We organize events for the Muslim community at UT Southwestern. We are part of the national AMMSA organization.

Where can I pray?

There are a few reflection spaces and multifaith chapels in the surrounding medical district where students, residents, faculty work and train.

Parkland Chapel (PM 01-601)
Location
First floor, Parkland Hospital (near Blue elevators)
Directions
From main entrance, turn right and proceed to the back. Look for glass double doors on the right.
Description
Multifaith chapel with movable chairs. Prayer mats provided during jummuah.

Khutbah: 1:35pm, Salah: 2:00pm (weekly, year-round)

Take green elevators to 2nd floor, immediately on the left (north side of atrium)
